Happy New Year

Welcome 2009! We feel so fortunate to have such a great year to look forward to and although nothing could top the amazing year 2008 was, we know there are tons of adventures coming our way. We rang in the new year with our sweet baby boys in the NICU and pray that we get to bring them home soon so we can be up at midnight together every night (okay, so we're not looking forward to that part...but it comes with the territory). The twins turned one month old today and we're in shock at how much they've already grown and how many memories we've already made as a family. Tyler is 5 lbs 11.9 oz and 18 1/4 in long and Parker is 6 lbs 8.4 oz and 19 3/4 in long. They are getting very close to outgrowing their little preemie clothes and diapers and I got brave enough to try on some pre-pregnancy clothes yesterday and actually fit into my jeans! It's amazing how fast all of this is happening! Both babies are now taking all of their feeding with a bottle and they took Parker's feeding tube out this week. All we're waiting on now is for the boys to be alarm free for 5 days. We can't wait for them to be home!
